Sunny Deol Upcoming Movies: Sunny Deol is very much in demand these days. There was a time when people considered him a flop and were unwilling to do films with him. The success of Gadar 2 turned the tables, such that Sunny Deol now has a queue of films in front of him. So far, the names of eight films in which Sunny Deol is going to work have been discussed, and speculations have gained momentum.
Some of these films have been officially confirmed, while others are under way. Here is a list of movies where Sunny Deol can entertain you.
Lahore 1947: The film has been announced recently. Anjaz Apna Apna director Raj Kumar Santoshi will direct the film. Interestingly, Sunny Deol was the lead of Santhoshi's debut film, Ghayal. After this, the duo of Raj Kumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol have given many hits, like Damini and Ghatak. The film is being made under the banner of the Aamir Khan Production House. There are reports that Sunny Deol will be the lead actor in this film. Aamir will not act in the film.
Border 2: After the success of Ghadar 2, Sunny Deol has said that the plan to make Border 2 was made a long time ago. This film has been planned since 2015. However, when Sunny's films flopped, the film was shelved. Now, after the success of Ghadar 2, the makers have gotten a boost. There were reports that Ayushmann Khurrana would star opposite Sunny Deol in Border 2, but the makers said that the casting has not been finalised yet.
Gadar 3: After the success of Gadar 2, Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol have hinted in several interviews that they might consider making Gadar 3. The release of this film will not be delayed like Gadar 2. Let us tell you that the second part of Ghadar was released after 22 years.
Son of Sardar 2: According to the latest reports, Sunny Deol is being roped in for the second part of Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardar. Pinkvilla reveals that work on the script has already started. Sunny Deol's name is being considered. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
Baap: The first look at the Baap came out last year. The film will feature 90s heroes Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Sunny Deol. The film is the story of four sons who take revenge for their father's murder.
Surya
Sunny Deol will be the hero in the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Surya. Some of the film was shot in Jaipur last year. It will feature Bengali actress Tanushree Chakraborty along with Sunny Deol.
Apne 2
The Deol family had been planning to make Apne 2 for a long time. Sunny Deol has clarified in several interviews that he had a story; now it remains to be seen when the film will start. After the success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has also gotten the courage to make this film.
Janmabhumi
After the bumper earnings of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is in the news to start another film. This movie is by Ram Janmabhoomi. There are reports that this courtroom drama on the trial of the Ayodhya Ram Temple case will take place by 2024. The film will also feature Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt.
