Popular charming Bollywood model-actress Nimrat Kaur is diverting the search-lights on the declining mental health of citizens who are undergoing stress-tension due to the Covid-19 pandemic .

“All of us are dealing with different struggles. I speak to my friends and family, and every day, there are unfortunate incidents — economic and personal losses.

In some ways, mental health is a priority in such times,” Nimrat has shared with the news-media.

The glamorous yet sensitive-intense actress-model Nimrat who first shot into instant fame with her Cadbury chocolate ad-TV commercial,where she has a snowball hurling romantic-one-upmanship game with her male partner, is now working with volunteer groups .

The agenda-plan is to curate a list of mental health professionals who will eagerly help mentally-distressed citizens.

Besides creating a network, she will oversee the daily progress of those in distress who have approached them Additionally, she will amplify mental health help-lines through her social media handles.

The dynamic Nimrat emphasises that hardly any attention has been paid to the mental well-being of frontline workers, who have been putting up a brave front against the crisis since early 2020.

“We need to stop and ask who is supporting our support system. Our frontline workers have shown such commitment.

Senior doctors and medical personnel are at the breaking point. They are trained to save lives. When they can’t do that, their sadness is unfathomable.

Going through such emotions for a prolonged period can be deterring. Their mental well-being is critical in such times,” justifies the internationally acclaimed winsome actress .

Nimrat made waves with her riveting role in American TV series Homeland and in Alt Balaji web-series The Test Case .
