Airtel 4G model Sasha Chettri on WHY --no hang-ups to ‘hang-upside-down’ in controversial ‘Prestitute’as [ kidnapped] journalist ! - Chaitanya Padukone

Immensely popular short-haired-cut savvy-cute-looking model-actress Sasha Chettri , seemed super-excited with her first major solo lead role in upcoming Hindi-Telugu political-news-media-crime thriller with a controversial title‘Prestitute’ directed by multi-talented Madhav-gaaru Kodad. !  Where hold-your-breath, she plays a daring free-lance journalist who gets kidnapped . In order to torture her,the dangerous villains‘hang-her-upside-down’ for a long time !   Incidentally ‘hero’ Mimoh Chakraborty  < mega-star Mithun-da’s son > plays a senior, mentor- journalist whom she desperately contacts to try and rescue her from the confinement custody of the villains .

The Hindi-Telugu movie Prestitute starring- Mimoh Chakraborty , Telugu movies actress Sasha Chettri , has an ensemble powerful supporting cast  of Manoj Joshi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Murli Sharma, Pradeep {Ghajini fame>  Rawat,  Ravi Kale , Rahul Dev  , Milind Gunaji < as a terrorist> , Sayaji Shinde, and Yashpal Sharma is produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy and writer-director-action master  is Madhav Kodad . The teaser-trailer and posters of ‘Prestitute’ were released at a late-night event at Sun\n Sand Hotel. which had as the ‘chief guest; veteran TV shows eminent producer and former lead actor Dheeraj Kumar. Everyone was missing macho hero Mimoh, who was apparently “unwell” and preferred not to attend !

Enthuses model-musician and versatile ‘born-natural-actress’ Sasha who originally belongs to Dehradun, , “ The kaafi-der-ke-liye-ultaa-lataknaa < hanging upside down> was a tough test for me. Actually,  I am enthusiastic for anything which is alag and kaafi-hatke.  It was required for my solo-heroine journalist character ‘Jhaansi’ who is kidnapped and tortured by the villains. Director Madhav-Sir was professional yet caring and had told me about this ulta-latakna scene, before he even signed me for this movie. For me it was a golden opportunity to step out of my good-looks comfort zone and perform in a  sober,intense and de-glam and enact challenging dramatic, tough scenes and action-fight scenes in bilingual movie ‘Prestitute’, while playing a lead-role of a daring news-media-journalist. Although there was a minor accident during the shoot, where I was lying on the floor, a large ‘cut-out’ fell on my face, and could have badly damaged my eye. But luckily that did not happen, it missed my eyes, but I did have a minor injury on my face above my nose. The entire crew and the director gave me full caring support all though the shooting of  ‘Prestitute.,” smiles exuberant Sasha who has acted earlier in Telugu regional movies like Operation Gold Fish   and in Radhe Shyam where in a parallel secondary role, heart-throb mega-star hero Prabhas was her co-star !

“Presstitute”  is a popular American  term-word {also used in India} that has reference to news-media journalists and 'talking heads' in mainstream media who give biased, prejudiced and predetermined views misleadingly manipulated and tailored to fit a particular partisan, financial or business agenda  !  Thus neglecting the fundamental ethical duty to report news impartially !When asked, debutant director Madhav Kodad disclosed that his film ‘Prestitute’ “has a bold, controversial, touchy daring subject of how In the Indian scenario a certain section of dishonest, corrupt ‘bikaau’ journalists compromise on editorial ethics and publish or telecast misleading news. It is inspired by and also based on authentic realistic happenings and incidents.. At the same time it is a gripping slick political-crime-action thriller-entertainer which Pan-India Hindi and Telugu audiences will fully enjoy,” assures Madhav. !  Even his ‘Prestitute’ heroine Sasha also fully agrees with him on this matter. !
