AISE TOH HAMAARE DESH MEIN HAR FILM KI RELEASE EK TYOHAAR HAI, LEKIN KUCH FILMEIN KHAAS HAI By Ali Peter John By Team Bollyy 21 Oct 2021 | Updated On 21 Oct 2021 15:00 IST in Ali Peter John New Update Follow Us Share It is difficult to imagine what we, a country with a population of hundred and thirty four million crore would do without entertainment and especially without films made in different languages, especially in Hindi - Ali Peter John In the last seventy years, we have only seen an increasing number of releases every year and the number increases during all the major festivals like Diwali, Holi, Dussehra, Eid and Christmas. Films are especially made and timed according to different festivals and the purpose of the filmmakers and the distributors and financiers is mostly met. But, the industry has faced some of the most difficult and dicey times during the last two years like every other industry has because of the common and entirely unexpected enemy called the Coronavirus. Theatres closed down indefinitely, studios pulled down their shutters, some of the busiest stars stayed at home without any work as their work couldn't be done at home. All technicians, all musicians , all writers sat at home twiddling their fingers. And the audience had to depend on the OTT platforms and other mediums of entertainment which were not very healthy, especially for families and children. It looked like a scene from an imaginary film called " D Day is here " ..... But , acche din are finally coming and if the third lehar is kind to us, we may return to normalcy soon or hum honge kaamyaab bahut jald, haan bahut jald. The recent releases of big films like "Bell Bottom" starring the invincible Akshay Kumar, "Chehere" starring the giant among giants, Amitabh Bachchan and a few other films failed to make the necessary impact and gave the industry double the reasons to worry about its future. But the optimism seen on the Covid front and the string of festivals in the months to come are signs of hope for the films that will be released during these festivals and hopefully do well at the box office ( where has the box office gone for the last so many years ? ) Among the films that are hoping to revive hopes for the future are Rohit Shetty's "Sooryvanshi" starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, a film which was to be released before Covid struck with double the vengeance than any hero played by any hero, even Akshay Kumar. The film was scheduled to be released several times, but it is finally scheduled to release in the first week of November and we hope that the long wait leads to the sun of success rising for the film in a big and bright way . In a similar way , Sanjay Leela Bhansaali"s "Gangubai Kathiawadi" was also to be released just before Covid made its sinister appearance and the film which is like a do or die film for Alia Bhatt had to also be postponed several times and Bhansaali planned other films with Alia and other actors. But, now that the industry is breathing easy , there are all the chances of Gangubai Kathiawadi being released some time in November. Among the other interesting films which are ready and may be released during this festive time are "Bunty Aur Bubli 2" starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji,. " Ganapath" staring Tiger Shroff , ' 83", another film which has been in the making for quite a long time and has been waiting for release for a longer time. And once these films clear the way with success, there will surely be a festival of films in 2022 and then in the many many years to come. Let's only hope and pray that ugly villains like Madam Corona don't strike and ruin the game of film entertainment,or any other part of our world. Once is more than enough, isn't it ?
