Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's PR team confirmed the former Miss World's Instagram debut, a day before her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. While the news got her fans excited, but the response on her Instagram account was not as such as expected. According to reports, Aishwarya is upset with her team for the lukewarm response to her much-awaited Instagram debut.

A source close to the actress told Pinkvilla, "Aishwarya is upset with the way her social media debut happened. This is not what she expected. In 6 hours her profile has not even crossed 20,000 followers, which is very unlikely, given her popularity. She is also upset that there is no blue tick on her profile, making people wonder about the authenticity of the profile."

Aishwarya's anger is quite justified as she was not willing to join social media and it took so much to persuade her. The actress of such aura deserves more followers and shout-outs than what she garnered.
