The film also stars this year's National Award winner - Keerthy Suresh’s (of Mahanati Telugu film fame) career in Bollywood.The film kicks off today and is expected to release in 2020. The film is presented by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor. Directed by Amit RavinderNath Sharma of the National award-winning film ‘Badhaai Ho’, Maidaan is produced by Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta, too, besides Boney Kapoor, with screenplay and dialogues written by Saiwyn Quadros and Ritesh Shah respectively.
