After raking in the moolah at the box-office with his film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha this year, Akshay Kumar has enough films in his kitty for next two years.
Recently, Akki is making headlines for quitting one of his much-talked about upcoming projects. Yes, Khiladi Kumar has now reportedly walked out of music composer Gulshan Kumar's biopic, Mogul, which is helmed by director Subhash Kapoor.
According to a report in Mid-day, the actor is willing to make a few changes in the script, but the director Subhash Kapoor refused to give in to his demands. The reports stated, "Akshay has some concerns over the script that director Subhash Kapoor has greenlit. He requested that a few things be rewritten. But, Subhash was adamant. Hence, Akshay thought it was best if he opted out."
But on the other side, some media reports rubbished all these rumours. Indian Express quoted a source close to T-series saying, "It is not true because the script is still being written, so meanwhile Akshay Kumar is taking up other projects." So, the conclusion is if the script hasn't been finalized yet than there are fewer chances of Akshay Kumar dropping out the biopic, Mogul.
Earlier this year Akshay Kumar himself took to his Twitter account to share the poster of the film writing, "My association with Him began with my very first film. He was The Emperor Of Music! Now know His story… #Mogul, The Gulshan Kumar story!".
This is not the first-time director Subhash Kapoor and the Akshay are uniting for a project. They had already worked together on this year's successful courtroom drama Jolly L.L.B 2 in which Akshay Kumar played a struggling lawyer from Lucknow. Gulshan Kumar biopic Mogul will be produced under the T-Series banner.
Meanwhile, Akshay also has Padman and 2.0 lined up for the coming year.
