AKSHAY, SALMAN AND KJO'S FILM SHELVED!

Earlier this year, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Karan Johar were in the news with their announcement of an upcoming project which was rumoured to be based on the Battle of Saragarhi. The news sent out waves in the industry and fans were also looking forward to this exciting collaboration. However, there seems to be shift in the development and apparently the film has been shelved altogether!

According to sources, last week the trio got together and mutually decided to not take forward the project. Now the team is working on the balance sheet of the amount spent in the initial preparation and only the amount which had paid to technical staff and writer will not be taken back.

After the successful run of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion—a film that set new standards for breathtaking visuals and CGI, many-a film-makers jumped on the bandwagon to announce period war films but none of these films showed any promising premise and their development came into the question. Seems like that Bollywood isn't quite ready to deliver these mega projects yet.
