ALIA BHATT AND VICKY KAUSHAL START FILMING FOR MEGHNA GULZAR'S NEXT

Meghna Gulzar who debuted as a director with the critically acclaimed Talvar based on the famous Aarushi murder case has started filming her next. The film titled Raazi stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead. In a twitter post, Meghna revealed how Kashmir is irreplaceable from her life and shared some of her childhood moments with her parents.

Meghna made the announcement in the last line of her tweet with 'Returning for my film. Surreal. #Raazi'. As per a report in DNA, Alia's character is married to a Pakistani army officer, which will be played by Vicky. The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions and is based on Harinder Sikka's novel, Calling Sehmat, a thrilling saga of a spy who gave all of herself and that of her family in the service of her nation.

On the work front, Vicky will now be seen in Manmarziyan and the Sanjay Dutt biopic and on the other hand, Alia is currently working on Raazi only.
