ALIA BHATT INJURED ON THE SETS OF BRAHMASTRA

Alia Bhatt recently celebrated her 25th birthday on the sets of Brahmastra along with the team of the movie, in Bulgaria. The actress injured herself while shooting for an action sequence in the superhero flick. Ranbir Kapoor will play the main lead opposite Alia Bhatt and will have high-intensity stunt sequences in the Ayan Mukerji directorial.

A leading daily quoted its source, “The team was shooting for a scene when Alia fell and hurt herself. She has injured her right shoulder and arm. There’s a clot on her arm, so she has been advised bed rest.”

The actress will be out of action for a few weeks. “She is in a lot of pain. Her right arm is bandaged and held up in a sling, so she can’t exert it or her shoulder for the next 15 days” adds the daily.

The Brahmastra team was supposed to wrap the shoot and return to India by the end of this month, but now the team will have to stay and is thus looking for options. The daily quoted;  “In the current scenario, Alia can’t film any stunt sequences. She can only shoot for close-up scenes and the team is checking if they would need any right now.” However, there is no clarity on whether the star would head back home right away.
