ALIA BHATT TO CO-STAR WITH VICKY KAUSHAL IN MEGHNA GULZAR’S ‘RAAZI’

Karan Johar officially announced Meghna Gulzar’s next film, Raazi, on Twitter. The critically acclaimed director, who won for praise for her 2015 release Talvar, has chosen Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal as leads for her next venture, which is being produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions and is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel, Calling Sehmat, a thrilling saga of a spy, who gave herself and her family for the service of her nation.
Both actors have started training for their respective roles. Alia is playing a Kashmiri woman married to a Pakistani army officer, being played by Vicky Kaushal. He provides Indian intelligence with invaluable information during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Meanwhile, Alia is busy shooting for her next project with Ranbir Kapoor, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji. On the other hand, the Masaan actor is currently working on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic being directed by Raj Kumar Hirani.
