ALL ABOUT TIGER SHROFF & HEROPANTI 2

Heropanti 2 is an up and coming Hindi romantic action film and a sequel to the 2014 film Heropanti. The original 2014 film introduced Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff to the audiences in a big way and made him a star overnight - Jyothi Venkatesh

The film is directed by Ahmed Khan, written by Rajat Arora and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

It stars Tiger Shroff, as Babloo Ranawat, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Laila , Kriiti Sanon and Tara Sutaria as Inaaya , Zakir Hussain and last but not the least Amrita Singh and what’s more has music by none other than A.R.Rahman. The film is slated for release all over the world on 29th April, 2022

Staying true to expectation, Heropanti 2 trailer is all about Tiger Shroff packing punches, doing his flips and showing off his well-sculpted physique.

Added to that is Nawazuddin Siddiqui, playing a magician Laila, who seems to find joy in killing people. Tara Sutaria, meanwhile, gets to mouth some cringey dialogues in the action-packed three-minute trailer.

By the way, earlier it was said that Baaghi 2 would be a remake of Adivi Sesh’s Telugu thriller Goodachari but it looks like it was Heropanti 2 that may take away that tag. Tiger has already worked on the remake of a south film titled ‘Kshanam’ which was titled Baaghi 2 in Hindi.

Baaghi’ too was a remake of Prabhas and Trisha's Telugu hit film ‘Varsham’. Hence, judging by the pattern, people thought that Baaghi 2 would also see the same fate.

While this started off as a joke, reports suggested that not Baaghi 3 but Heropanti 2 might actually be a remake of Goodachari.

The film directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka, starred Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala and revolved around a young NSA agent who is dragged into a murder case of his bosses.

Looking from the posters and guessing by the obvious plot, this is something we all need to think about now!

However, actor Adivi of Telugu film Goodachari had cleared it beforehand that no remake of the film will be made.

He had tweeted, “Contrary to popular belief, we have not yet sold the Hindi Remake rights of #Goodachari to anyone. :)” So if it is a remake or an inspiration? One will only be able to find out once we are able to see the film.

Apart from this, Tiger Shroff and the makers of Heropanti 2 are getting slammed for copying Hollywood posters for their film. Many also drew close comparisons to the recently released posters of Heropanti 2 with Keanu Reeves’s film John Wick.

As the cyber cell plans to nab the vicious killer Laila, Babloo (played by Tiger Shroff) is given the charge to find him.

“Babloo dhundne se nahi, kismat se milta hain,” he enters mouthing the dramatic dialogue. What follows is a pan of Tiger Shroff’s flexing uncountable muscles of his body.

The camera, like a true fan, zooms into that well-oiled body as he kicks around villains around him.

A romantic angle between Shroff’s Babloo and Sutaria’s Inaaya is also hinted. However, he seemed to have deserted her as she cries, “Humare beech love ho sakta tha, sex ho sakta tha but tum bhaag gayee.”

She also shows her displeasure when he unzips his pants to a nurse saying, “Mere saamne to pakeeza ban rahe the yahan dirty picture.”

Just like its predecessor, Heropanti 2 has a lot of thrilling and exciting action sequences that have ‘inspired’ written all over them.

From Hero to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon to Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets, the trailer will remind you of a lot of films.

The popular dialogue “Sabko aati nahi, meri jaati nahi” also features in the film, which definitely will get whistles in the theatre from all the ardent Tiger Shroff fans.
