After some power-packed performances in last year's hits Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and Kapoor & Sons, Alia Bhatt is easily one of the most in-demand actors in Bollywood right now with all leading directors wanting to work with her. And if there's one film-maker whose wish might come true, it is Bareilly Ki Barfi director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari! If reports are to be believed, Ashwiny wants to rope in Alia Bhatt for her next project and the two are said to be in talks already and if all goes well, the film will be produced by Phantom Films.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari made her directorial debut with Nil Battey Sannata and she was recently praised once again for her second film Bareilly Ki Barfi which starred Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao. The film has done exceptionally well and has proved to be a sweet treat for the audience.

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is currently prepping for Ayan Mukerji's Dragon in which she is paired with Ranbir Kapoor. She also signed Karan Johar's Raazi, a period espionage thriller being directed by Meghna Gulzar and co-starring Masaan actor Vicky Kaushal.
