In the 80s and 90s I used to be a regular in studios all over Hyderabad and had close encounters with giants like N T Rama Rao , Akkineni Nageswara Rao , Dasari Narayan Rao , Nagarjuna , Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh among others , besides all the leading actresses like Sridevi and Jayaprada - Ali Peter John

I had seen the madness and the craze for all these stars . But never before and now never after will I see the kind of fenzy and excitement and euphoria for this actor Allu Arjun , who has been dominating the scene like a titan for more than twenty years .

Allu Arjun is the name of a cult figure among audiences of every age , but as Ajay , one of his devotees says, " Allu is the god of our generation"

This god of the new generation is a born natural actor who can bring any kind of character alive . He is a dancer who doesn't follow any dancing rules and has no idols , but has his own ways of dancing which has become a part of life all over the South , especially in Andhra .

He doesn't need fight directors because he creates his own fight sequences which have also grabbed the imagination of the youth who believe that whatever he does in his films is real and nothing but the real . He has writers who write dialogues that appeal to his audience directly .

His films mostly are comments on the ills of society and they keep with the moods and trends of life. Allu Arjun is described as "the man of the masses , but with a mind that thinks and ticks with the minds of his people who he considers his family.

Allu was born in Chennai in a family closely associated with films. He started his career when he was only three years old and was a leading man when he was only seventeen and that was the beginning of a legend in the making and today with the release of Pushpa : The Rise Part 1 which has been released in Tamil , Telugu , Malayalam and Hindi and which has already crossed the 300 hundred crore mark at a time when films are falling by the wayside and filmmakers are scared to release their films , it would not be wrong to call Allu Arjun the undisputed king of the box office .

He has clearly given a massive complex to all the heroes of every language and has created a pedestal of his own on which he stands alone and supreme .

Pushpa : The Rise has been in the making for three years and the release has been postponed thrice because of the pandemic .

But Allu and his director Sukumar had all the confidence in the the film they had made and finally released it in the last week of December 2021 .

The film opened to average houses , but it was the performance of Allu as Pushpa Raj and the way Sukumar directed the film that attracted the audience and by the time it entered the second week it was a rage and at the time of writing , it has already crossed the 300 crore mark and the impact of the film is the same in all the four languages and the magic and magnetism is only growing stronger .

Will Allu Arjun make his debut in an out and out Bollywood films ? That is the billion crore question and the industry is waiting for the answers anxiously ...

According to many of his followers , Allu has bought a bungalow which he hopes to rebuild . The bungalow is said to be somewhere in the suburb of Versova .

Allu who will be forty soon is married to Sneha Ready and they have two children , Ayaan and Ara. Ara will in all probability be making her debut in a Bollywood film and has received the go ahead sign from her father .

Will Allu join politics ? He says , " my films , my roles and my dialogues do more than an entire political party and all its leaders can do . I am happy without getting into politics ".
