'PAMMI AUNTY' HAS MADE HER WAY TO A WEB-SERIES WITH ALTBALAJI

Ekta Kapoor's ALTBalaji has slowly and steadily established itself as one of the big players on the Indian digital scene. And taking the movement ahead, the company has now signed Pammi Aunty aka Ssumier Pasricha for a new show. The show will be based on Pammi Aunty and her dysfunctional family which consists of Pammi Aunty, her America-returned son Timmi, fire-ball draped maid Shanti Shole and also the lunatic neighbour Kishori Lal. The main highlight of the show is that Pasricha plays all the roles by himself.

Ssumier is already popular and loved on social media for his act and that is what makes this collaboration with ALTBalaji all the more interesting. Opening up on the opportunity, Ssumier told the media, "ALTBalaji has been the perfect platform to bring this show to the audience. The most exciting part is that I get to enact four characters in one show; it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any actor. The entire show is Ekta’s vision and it was her idea for me to play multiple roles. It would be interesting for viewers to see hysterical relationship dynamics between the members of this family.
