AMEESHA PATEL AND MS. SUNNY LEONE DIRECTED TO PAY THE CLAIMS OF THE PRODUCERS WITHIN SEVEN DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ARBITRATION TRIBUNAL MEETING I.E. 25 JULY,2023

The meeting of the Arbitration Tribunal of IMPPA was held on 25^th July,2023 wherein the Arbitration Tribunal took a serious view of the absence of Ms.Ameesha Patel who was absent without notice.  The Arbitration Tribunal directed Ms.Ameesha Patel to pay the entire claim payable by her to M/s A D Films within seven days, failing which, ex-parte decision shall be taken by the Arbitration Tribunal at her own risk as to costs and consequences thereof.

In the matter of Sunny Leone, she had given notice of not being able to attend. However, the Arbitration Tribunal has taken serious view of her avoiding to appear before the Arbitration Tribunal for very long, and directed that Ms. Sunny Leone  should refund the amount received from M/s Soundarya Production within 7 days from the date of the meeting.

Both the Artists are thus directed by the Arbitration Tribunal to comply with the decision by paying up the claims of the producers within 7 days of the date of this meeting i.e. 25^th July,2023, failing which they will be solely responsible for the consequences.
