Amitabh Bachchan reveals ‘slow recovery from his eye-surgery’

Bollywood super-star Amitabh Bachchan had crores of his loyal ardent fans anxiously worried and concerned, as he initially revealed on Saturday night that he has “undergone a surgery” - Chaitanya Padukone

The legendary bass-voiced senior actor and iconic KBC TV show host Big B did not disclose many details in his blog post.

However, on Monday morning, the 78-year-old indefatigable versatile ‘mahaan’ actor wrote in a lengthy post that he had undergone a ‘delicate (surgical) procedure’ for his eyes.

The actor shared that the recovery process is slow and he is currently unable to write or see clearly.

The ophthalmic two-hour surgical procedure was conducted by noted eye-surgeon Dr.Himanshu Mehta and the mega-star actor is already discharged and is back home at his Juhu-Jalsa bungalow, wearing large-framed protective dark-shades sun-glasses.

In his message, Amitabh said “Thank you for all the concern and the wishes for the medical condition.

Eye surgeries at this age are delicate and need precision handling. The best is being done and one hopes all shall be well.
