AMITABH BACHCHAN SHARES HIS CONVERSATION WITH JAVED AKHTAR AT THE FUNERAL OF SRIDEVI

The first female superstar of India, Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, leaving the nation in utter shock. It is hard for people to accept that their beloved actress is gone too soon. India bid adieu to the actress yesterday and the actress was draped in tricolour following a state honour.

During her final journey, entire B-Town came to pay their tribute to the actress. Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan, Shraddha Kapoor to Deepika Padukone, everyone is mourning the loss of the superstar. Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share a shayari narrated by Javed Akhtar to him at the funeral.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his Twitter account, "रहने को सदा देहर में आता नहीं कोई, तुम जैसे गये ऐसे भी जाता नहीं कोई"~ कैफ़ि आज़मी.....देहर - means .. the world ....Javed Akhtar narrated this sher to me at funeral of Sridevi .. said it was written at time of Guru Dutt demise ; but so appropriate for today .."
