Badminton star PV Sindhu was felicitated by Sahara India Pariwar's founder and chairman Subrata Roy. Last month, PV Sindhu became India's first badminton world champion, defeating Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in the final held in Basel, Switzerland.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jeetendra also made their presence felt. Bollywood celebrities like Prem Chopra, Raj Babbar, Sanjay Khan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Shekhar Suman among other attended the grand felicitation event of badminton champion PV Sindhu in Mumbai.
