Amrita Rao remembers the special gift given by MF Hussain on his 106th birth anniversary today

Renowned painter MF Hussain considered Amrita Rao as his muse and had painted her live after the release of Vivah.

Today, on the occasion of his 106th birth anniversary, actress Amrita recollected a memory associated with the painter.

Amrita shared that she has received a gift from the painter which she considers to be her valuable possession.

He gifted the actress his paintbrush which he specially imported from Paris and used it as his signature walking stick.

Presenting his signature brush, he said, 'Remember that only 3 people in the world own it.'

Recalling the painter, Amrita says, "I know Hussain sahib was very good at his "self-portraits" which very few people are.

Before he started painting me, I told him that I want the theme of the painting to be "The Painter and His Muse", if you look at the painting, there is a painting within a painting.

Every girl dreams of being painted by a painter, I am so honored and blessed that I was immortalized on his canvas by none other than the great MF Hussain."
