AMY JACKSON IN A NETFLIX SERIES

Times they are a changin’. Indian actors aren’t shying away from testing unexplored waters. While many have found their foot in Hollywood, others have tried their hands at television. The latest actor to join that league is Amy Jackson who is in talks with Netflix for a web series.
Streaming ace Netflix is coming up with an Indian original series based on the Arvind Adiga’s Booker Prize winning novel The White Tiger. The show, titled Selection Day is a fascinating coming-of-age story of cricket and the corruption involved in the game while exploring the glory of Mumbai in the background.
In an official statement, Amy confirmed the news and said, “I am in talks for something really exciting, which I can’t talk about, else I will just jinx it. That’s also why I was in Los Angeles. It’s actually a series for Netflix that has interested and excited me.”
On the work front, Amy is currently shooting for her upcoming 2.0 film opposite Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, the film is slated for a 25 January 2018 release
