‘An evening in Paris’ with Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ premiere ? --- by Chaitanya Padukone

Internationally acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari’s period film Bawaal, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, will release directly on Amazon Prime Video (OTT) next month. But before it begins streaming, the Sajid Nadiadwala and Warda Nadiadwala production will reportedly have its global première at the exclusive Salle Gustave Eiffel in Paris (France). It will be the first time for an Indian movie to première at the Eiffel Tower, with the panoramic view of Paris in the backdrop.Interestingly, in the distant past legendary film-maker, Shakti Samanta had shot major portions of his romantic musical superhit movie titled An Evening in Paris ‘ (1967) starring Shammi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore in exotic outdoor and indoor locations all over Paris city in France.

Incidentally, Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwini Iyer Tiwari who are also co-producing this commercial bio-pic ( along with Ronnie Screwvala) titled ‘Tarla’ ( on ZEE5 ) with talented star-actress Huma Qureshi playing the iconic vegetarian cuisine chef and culinary luminary are popular names in China. It may be recalled that Nitesh Tiwari directed emotional sports-drama ‘Dangal’ (2016 ) was and is a popular mega-hit in China. In fact, the movie-hero star-wrestler macho father-coach Aamir Khan was mobbed by swarms of crazy Chinese female fans when he landed in China.A collab tie-up of the movie ‘Tarla’ (ZEE5) with the Swiggy Food Festival for the launch of its trailer has been organized this late evening at Dublin Square Market Phoenix Shopping Mall at Kurla (Mumbai central suburbs).
