These awards aim to dismantle the patriarchy and fight misogyny by bringing women legends together from different walks of life and felicitating them for their hard work, outstanding work, and innovative ideas
The awards night saw an impressive and strong line of women who were awarded for their excellence. Every achiever spoke on the role and importance of women in society and encouraged fellow women to be leaders and compete in equal strength in all occupations, they should be leaders and not be recognized as women leaders that's what will change the perception that the world today has about women. IAWA’s motto is to motivate these women by giving them recognition and building confidence and acknowledging their hardships.

Saraswati Bai Dadasaheb Phalke was a strong woman who was a multitasker and empowered herself by helping her husband Dadasaheb Phalke to be the pioneer in filmmaking. IAWA pays tribute to her by awarding strong achievers worldwide.
