ANANYA RECEIVES THUMBS UP FROM THE AUDIENCE!

The Stage studio productions (Inderlal Gerela & Malav Jani’s) play, Ananya- A journey beyond imagination, presented by Zelu Entertainment and written and directed by Pratap Phad, premiered Sunday evening at Rangsharda, Bandra. Not only was the play loved by the audience but the actors received a standing ovation as well. The play features Prithvi Zutshi, Shweta Gulati, Ahwaan Kumar, Manish Uppal, Siddharth Bodke and Arushi Mehta. Celebrities who graced the occasion included Kunal Kohli, Vivek Agnihotri, Delnaaz Irani, Rajesh Puri, Kishwar Merchant, Kiku Sharda, Raj Zutshi, Shweta Rohira, Balvinder Singh, Neelu Kohli, and Stavan Shinde.

Lead actor Shweta Gulati was ecstatic looking at the response. "It was a delight to have such a wonderful audience. They loved my performance. The script was superb and the director Pratap Phad is a hands on-director who has got the best out of me as an actress,” she said. Actor Malav Jani added, "I am very happy with the response the play has got and we are going to have more shows in coming months.” The play is the story of an ordinary girl, Ananya, who possessed the potential to do something extraordinary. Being a bright student, she was always showered by praise and her confidence never seemed to cease. She was a free-living girl with a lot of ambitions planned for life. She had also got engaged to the person she saw her future with. Everything was pretty and full of sunshine until she met with an accident. Things started turning upside down within no time. It’s the story of her struggle with the world.
