'Anari is backk' has been released! The government should come forward to find a solution to the release crisis of small films

The film "Anari is Backk", made by former censor chief Pahlaj Nihalani, has got a theatrical release. When such well-made films are released, there is excitement among other producers who are waiting for the release after going through the process of making good films on a small budget. Pahlaj ji is lucky and an experienced player in filmmaking who can think of working with an average low budget in this era.

Nowadays one thing is heard a lot in the cinema industry “Making a film is easy but releasing it is difficult”. The reason is that the doors of theatres across the country are open for films made with very expensive budgets, which are made for Rs 200-500-600 crores. For any 'Pathan', 'Jawaan', or 'Tiger' which are released on 5000+ screens, all cinema doors are open for them and small budget films get untouchable treatment to enter these doors. The question then is, where should the filmmakers of small-budget films go? This is a subject to think about. The government should include this topic in its agenda.

It is a coincidence that our Central Government has a listening leader like Youth Information Broadcasting Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur who listens to the film people and also considers their proposals. The grand event of the Goa Film Festival (IFFI) is the latest example of this. The government has many options. For example, Film Division, NFDC has closed cinema halls which are rarely used. They have cinema halls in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and every city. As an experiment, well-made, low-budget films should be allowed to be screened at lower cinema rates on days when they are vacant. The solution to such an initiative will be that there are hundreds of private halls in every city, all will come into action, and at least the path will be simple. This is an example. The government has many such resources. If you want to find a solution, there can be many 'Anari is Backk'.
