Bollywood's very own 'Anna' has been doing only cameos for a while now. Suniel Shetty who was recently seen in A Gentleman seems to be changing gears now. If reports are to be believed, Shetty has been signed up for a television series as well as two feature films with one of them being JP Dutta's Paltan and the other one, surprisingly, happens to be a kids film!
Speaking about the film to the media, Suniel said, "I'm looking forward to taking up movies that are interesting, unique, up my alley and, most importantly, suit my age. I'm doing a children's film next where I play a school principal, who is a mentor to many kids. It's a beautiful script. The creative team is the one that has worked on Mary Kom and Neerja. While it's a small film, I'm sure it will leave an impact. And I'm very happy to be working with such young co-stars. There are lots of kids in the film along with me. It was fun to shoot with children, who were 10 years or even younger. My character is that of an orphan boy, who is adopted and goes on to become the principal of a high-end school. The movie says that if given an opportunity, everyone can make it. The education system is only about 'X' grades and the kind of students in school, but where do the rest go? However, it isn't a preachy film. It focuses on the importance of education and class differences, but in a fun manner."
Suniel has even shot for more than 70 % of the film and it'll be interesting to see how he adapts himself for a project that is very unlike the kind of work he's usually been associated with. Team Bollyy wishes Anna all the good luck!
