IN ANOTHER CASE OF F***K LOGIC, CBFC BANS COMPUTER GENERATED NUDITY!

....Aaaand they've done it again! The Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) has ceased to work on logic and continues to maintain that legacy. This time it is Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi thriller Blade Runner 2049 starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling that has got the slasher treatment from the CBFC. Before the film was given an ‘A’ certificate, all the nude shots, frontal and back, were asked to be cut out.

Wait until you hear how the board has surpassed all levels of stupidity. The above-mentioned shots are computer-generated graphics, representing artificial intelligence! Clearly, rationality doesn't exist in CBFC's world. When the board was told that these characters are not real and are computer-generated, they went on to justify their decision with an even lamer statement which goes like, "Nudity in any form is unacceptable for the board irrespective of whether that nude form is computer generated. However, a statue of a nude woman has been exempted from the cutting campaign in Blade Runner 2049."

We don't even know what to say now and just hope that some time later in life, sense prevails within the board.
