Anupam Kher surprises Shiv Shastri Balboa fans by selling tickets at PVR Box-office

Have you ever imagined walking in a movie theatre and your favourite actor sitting in the box office giving you the tickets? Well, Anupam Kher did exactly that by sitting in a box office and handing his fans tickets of his latest movie, Shiv Shastri Balboa. Anupam Kher and team of Shiv Shastri Balboa carried out a beautiful activity at PVR on 13th January. Anupam Kher himself stood at the box office and helped the staff to sell tickets of Shiv Shastri Balboa. While doing so, Anupam Kher interacted with fans and the staff and learned how bookings in the multiplex like Inox and PVR work.

I am still in shock. I love Anupam Kher  and boxing and was shocked to see him at the counter. It feels like a dream " says Mandar Shetty, who had come to watch the film. "I am so happy."

Ramesh Yadav, a chowkidar well into his 60s and a father of three, wants to build a body like Anupam Kher. "I came to the theatre to see him. If he can build his body, so can I " said Yadav, who was elated at the bonus of buying the ticket from Kher. "I will always preserve this ticket," he enthuses.

Anupam Kher shared how ticket selling used to be back in his theatre days and when asked why he decided to try surprising fans at the counter, he replied, "Anything is dignified as long as it is done with joy and happiness. I just wanted to share my joy and here I am."

Talking about Valentine's Day, Kher said that Valentine's Day should not be for just a man and a woman and you can be in love with your family, friends, and even a cinema. And Shiv Shastri Balboa being a sweet movie about the lovely bond Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher has throughout, he recommended to go and watch the movie with their loved ones on Valentine's Day.
