'Anupamaa' wins best debut show at Bollywoodlife.com awards

Ace producer Rajan Shahi's Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey-starrer "Anupamaa" won the Best Debut TV Show 2021 at the recently held Bollywoodlife.com awards. The show is being produced by  Rajan and his mother Deepa Shahi under their banner Shahi Productions Pvt Ltd. Jyothi Venkatesh

Rajan took to Instagram to congratulate his team and wrote, "Congrats team Anupamaa for winning the best debut TV show 2021. Thank you Bollywoodlife.com. Thu Thu Thu."

The show revolves around a homemaker who was never acknowledged for all that she does for her family and the efforts she puts in. She gets the biggest shock of her life when she learns about her husband's extramarital affair,

and then starts her journey of creating an identity for herself.  "Anupamaa" was scheduled to launch in March 2020 but it was postponed to July 2020 because of the nationwide lockdown. And once it went on-air it has been doing extremely well and topping TRP charts for its relatable content.  It also features Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra, Muskan Bamne, Shekhar Shukla, Nidhi Shah, Anagha Bhosale, and Tassnim Sheikh. The show airs on Star Plus.
