ANURAG, KARAN, DIBAKAR AND ZOYA’S LATEST ANTHOLOGY ‘LUST STORIES’ IS OUT ON NETFLIX!

After Bombay Talkies, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar’s latest anthology, Lust Stories was released on Netflix yesterday. The two-hour long movie is set out to explore modern-day Indian relationships. The movie is an amalgamation of four different stories revolve around women and their place in a relationship. The movie features  Akash Thosar, Neil Bhoopalam, Sanjay Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vicky Kaushal, Neha Dhupia in lead roles. And the best part of the film is that each director’s story is mainly centred around women featuring the talented actresses such as Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, and Kiara Advani. After the recently released movie, Veere Di Wedding, Lust Stories definitely takes the discussion on Bollywood’s sexual awakening steps forward.

Anurag Kashyap’s story is about  Kalindi (Radhika Apte), a college teacher and her student Tejas (Akash Thosar).

Dibakar Banerjee’s directorial is revolved around a middle-aged married woman (Manisha Koirala) who feels trapped in her more than a decade-long marriage and settles for an illicit physical relationship with her husband’s best friend (Jaideep Ahlawat).

Zoya Akhtar’s story centres on Sudha (Bhumi Pednekar), a domestic help in Mumbai, involved in a sexual relationship with her employer’s son, Ajay (Neil Bhoopalam), a software professional.

Karan Johar’s short revolves around Sandhya (Kiara Advani), a schoolteacher who desperately wants to teach her husband, Paras (Vicky Kaushal), a thing or two (or three) about lovemaking.
