Nowadays to get a U/A certificate without any cuts and modification for films by CBFC is in itself a big task. Just to make a film is not enough because filmmakers have to make equal efforts to get a certificate without any chopping their creativity in films. But, it's a celebration time for Anurag Kashyap as his upcoming film, Mukkabaaz has been given a U/A certificate by the CBFC without any change or cuts in the film. The director expressed his joy by saying that he is grateful to censor board chief Prasoon Joshi for a "reasonable, rational and empowering experience" and he also thanked I and B Minister Smriti Irani for providing him with some "space" to express himself in a free and fearless manner through his film.
Anurag also took to Twitter to share the news and his experience
Thank you @prasoonjoshi_ and @smritiirani and the board and the revising committee panel . Just to be given space to speak freely and fearlessly makes it all so worth it. #Mukkabaaz

I was asked by the board, my intention to make this film and I spoke freely and fearlessly and was accorded the respect of a filmmaker by CBFC. Last time that happened was GOW #Mukkabaaz
