ANUSHKA SHARMA'S PARI SCREENING GETS CANCELLED IN THE WAKE OF SRIDEVI'S DEMISE

The nation is mourning the demise of the first female superstar Sridevi. The actress was in Dubai to attend his nephew's wedding and on Saturday night the actresses had her last breath due to accidental drowning. Her last rites will be held in Mumbai at 3:30 pm today. In the honor of the actress, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi have already cancelled their annual Holi Party. Earlier in the week, Rani Mukerji had also cancelled the grand song launch event for her comeback movie, Hichki. 

Now, even screening of Anushka Sharma's Pari has been cancelled for tomorrow. The co-producer of movie Prerna Arora while confirming the news said;  "We are deeply shocked and heartbroken with the untimely demise of our beloved Indian legend, Sridevi. To honor her memory and the legacy she left behind, KriArj Entertainment has decided to cancel the screening of their upcoming film, Pari, which was earlier scheduled for the 28th of February"

The movie is slated to release on 2 March 2018.

Anushka Sharma is currently in Bhopal, shooting with Varun Dhawan for their next movie Sui Dhaaga.
