“Apna News Ayega Is Like Home-Coming For Me” Says Rajesh Kumar From Sony SAB’s Apna News Aayega

Popularly known for his phenomenal performance as Rosesh Sarabhai, Rajesh Kumar will be soon lightening up your day with Sony SAB’s upcoming special comedy segment ‘Apna News Aayega’. This short format comedy series has roped in some exceptional artists comprising of the best of the best comedians from the Indian television.

Getting candid on the sets, Rajesh revealed that signing for Apna News Aayega has been like home-coming for him since he has been associated with the SAB since his career began and this opportunity is close to his heart. The actor who has worked in the comedy genre for years shared that his entire experience while working for the show has been tremendously challenging and yet learning and every day is a new fun experience.

While expressing his long connection with Sony SAB, Rajesh said, “I have been part of SAB since it was SAB TV and my career started with this channel. I’m glad to be working with them again especially on this new format of comedy show ‘Apna News Aayega’.” Rajesh will be portraying various characters in the show which is extremely demanding but feels that the co-stars prompt performance while jumping from one character to another assists him while shooting for the show.

Apna News Aayega intrigued Rajesh to be a part of a, one of a kind concept on Indian television, in the comedy genre. Rajesh who is known to explore unique characters in the past expressed that element of short sketch comedy seemed challenging to him since it demands immense effort from the artist to stay in the character while keeping the performance crisp and entertaining, all more of the reason for him to take up this format of comedy. Talking about behind the scenes fun and dynamics with the co-stars, Rajesh was thrilled to inform that it’s been exciting for him to work with artists he has known from his previous projects and throughout his career like Shruti Seth while looking forward to witness the response from the audience.

The show that is a comical take on real life personalities and topical incidences is bound to hook us to our televisions and brighten our day. When enquired about his favorite show on Sony SAB, Rajesh was quick to respond and informed that he really enjoys Sony SAB’s Jijaji Chhat Per Hain for its hilarious narrative. Speaking about the industry, he acknowledged the entry of new talent on Sony SAB who will bring a new and fresh take in the comedy genre.
