ARJUN KAPOOR TO TAKE MARATHI LESSONS FOR 'PANIPAT'

Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming movie 'Panipat - The Great Betrayal' is a historical period drama which is based on the third battle of Panipat and is a high-octane action film. The movie features Arjun Kapoor who will play the role of Maratha leader Sadashivrao Bhau. Apart from Arjun, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon will also be a part of this ambitious project.

Arjun is working really hard for the movie. The actor will not only go through intense training, but will also learn Marathi dialect. According to a leading daily, a source revealed, ''Arjun can speak Marathi but for this specific film he will get a dialect coach who will help him grasp the nuances of the language that his character will require.''

About casting Arjun in the movie, director Ashutosh had earlier said, "What impresses me most about Arjun, apart from his fine performances, is his dynamism. He had played double roles twice (Aurangzeb, 2013 and Mubarakan 2017), and has portrayed an action hero as well as a lover boy."

Panipat - The Great Betrayal will be going on floors in mid-2018 and is slated to release on December 6, 2019.
