Arjun Kapoor, who was last seen in Anees Bazmee's comic caper Mubarakan seems to be choosing his films really wisely now. Gossip mills were abuzz with the new of the actor signing director duo Raj & DK’s next film Farzi. But now it seems that the actor has had a change of heart and according to the latest buzz, he has opted out of the film! Well, this is apparently because of the failure of Sidharth Malhotra‘s A Gentleman.
As per a report in Mid Day, Arjun was completely on-board for Farzi until recently when Raj &DK's A Gentleman tanked at the box office. As box-office reports of the Sidharth Malhotra starrer started trickling in, he felt that at this point in his career, it wouldn’t be wise for him to act in a heist film. Farzi, as a project hadn’t gone beyond an offer, and due to factors that didn’t align, Arjun decided not to take it up. The film hadn’t reached the monetary discussion stage either.
The report also suggested that Arjun has suggested his cousin, Harshvardhan's name for the film. Now, let's see if he says yes to the film or not!
