Guru Randhawa's Acting Debut 'Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaye'

Singer Guru Randhawa is now going to make his debut in films. After superhit songs, now Randhawa is going to do it with Saiee Manjrekar, daughter of legendary Bollywood actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar. Let us tell you that the film has a very strange title. The name of the film is 'Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaye'. The film is scheduled to release on February 16, 2024. Film G. It is directed by Ashok and will star Guru Randhawa, Anupam Kher, Saiee Manjrekar, and Atul Srivastava in lead roles. Apart from these, Ila Arun and Paritosh Tripathi will also be seen in the film.

The name of your film is ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaye’, what is the reason behind it?

Saiee- Little sour things and ups and downs keep happening in life. But whatever happens in the end is sweet. This film tells about this very thing. The title is catchy, it will stick in people's minds when they hear about it, and secondly, they will be curious to see what's in the movie.

Guru- If there is sour then there is sweetness, if there is sunshine then there is shade, if there is a city then there is a village. When a difficult thing moves towards ease, it is called a journey. That which keeps flowing is called water and that flowing water faces many obstacles like stones and pebbles but it still keeps flowing and does not stop. This is how you do small and sour things in life and keep moving forward. In the end, what matters is happiness. Life is beautiful.

Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaye

As an actor, did you choose this film to make your debut?

Guru- Every boy can relate to my character in this film. Everyone lives their college days in this way. Every boy listens to what his parents say and he also listens to what his girlfriend says. And in this film, I am also doing the same, the only difference is that I am not only listening to my girlfriend but I am also motivating her to do whatever she feels like so that she can live her life. I could become something. I am proudly supporting him. I think whether a dream is of a boy or a girl, we should support it. We don't know who the superstar of the future is, so why not be a part of their journey? I am a part of Ira's journey in this film.

Saiee, you have done many films before this also. Do you take help from your father Mahesh Manjrekar when you decide to do a film?

Saiee- When the script of any project comes, it is very important that I read the story first, then my dad reads it and after that, he gives me his opinion. His opinion is very important because he will know how much scope I have in that story. The second thing that matters is how invested my character is in that story. For me, it doesn't matter whether the role is small or big, what matters for me is how much I can give to that story. When I face any problem in a scene while reading a script, he explains the scene to me like a director. He never told me to do as I do. They let me experiment, whether it is wrong or right. My parents always support me. I consider myself lucky that there is a sounding board at my home with which I can talk because my mom and dad are all in this field. If there is any problem, advice is available at home itself.

What was the reaction of both of you when you came to know about your opposite actor?

Guru- Saiee had signed this film before me. When I came to narrate this script, I enjoyed listening to the story, it has comedy and drama as well as a social message which I liked very much. I liked the story and then they told me that Saiee was in the film, so I also signed the film.

Saiee- It was great working with Guru. When I signed, I was not confirmed for the role of Heer and when I came to know that Guru has been finalized for this role, I was very happy because I had met Guru earlier also. Guru's smile and his face are very innocent, although he is not as innocent as he looks. They are very cute, kind and sweet. Heer's character is very giving and supporting and Guru fits into it very well. I enjoyed working with them a lot.

Anupam Kher is also in this film. How was the experience of working with him?

Saiee- When we came to know that Anupam sir is playing the role of Heer's grandfather in this film, then Dad said that you should do this film because Anupam sir is an acting institute in itself. I consider myself very lucky that I got a chance to work with him.

Guru- There could not have been a better start than this, there could not have been a better star cast and there could not have been a better support system. When there are so many senior and reliable people in the film, people feel assured. People feel that some good project has been made and effort must have been put into it. People might think that I have done the same as all the singers have done in films, but it is not so. I have worked very hard on this film. We both have learned a lot from Anupam Sir and will continue to learn in the future. It is a big thing for us to know them and now that they know us, we can go to them for advice whenever we need it. He is like a father figure for us. It is a river from which we have taken one bucket of water each.

It can be seen in the trailer that there are many comic scenes in the film. And it is said that one who can do comedy can do anything. So how challenging was it for you to do this?

Guru- You Said a very good thing that one who can do comics can do anything. This means I am at the right place. I can do anything in life and anything can happen. Now I too can do something and something can also happen. It was a bit challenging but it is the same thing in this also that when you go to learn to drive for the first time and when you have been driving for 30 days then you get the driver's license. Even after that, the learning board remains on the back of your car but now you know how to drive. But when you go on the moving road, you are still learning. Acting is the same process for me. I wish I get to do more difficult roles. I want that when Mahesh sir sees this film, he should see in me a person whom he wants to find for his next movie. I manifest that I become the need of the person I like and whatever his needs are. I want all the directors not to see anything else except me. If they feel that we want our hero then this is what is needed.

What would you like to say to your fans?

Guru- I want to tell the fans to work hard, move forward, and make your name famous. Do what you like. Watch the movie also if you have time. Come back and give your feedback on how we both liked the film and how you liked the movie.
