“For me, music is the best therapy. It relaxes your mind, calms your senses. Music also makes me happy. I love both romantic and sad songs,” he says.

Arun’s favourite singers are Lata Mangeshkar, Arijit Singh and Amit Trivedi. And, one of his all-time favourite song is Khairiyat, from the film Chhichhore.

“Listening to peppy Punjabi songs makes me happy. I also listen to raps. Some of these rappers give out such strong messages with their hard-hitting lyrics.

They inspire me so much that at times I end up rapping myself, behind closed doors of course (laughs). Rap music is energetic,” he adds.

There was a time when music was only available on audio cassettes and CDs, now times have changed with the advancement of technology, everything in our mobile phones.

“Those were the times. It was difficult to find the CB, cassette or record one wanted but the excitement of getting the one you want was very exciting.

Technology has definitely made our life easy. We are just a click away from listening to any song we want to. This is obviously a boon,” he explains.

The actor shares that during the lockdown, listening to music made him feel better. “Music is my best companion when I feel low or alone. Good music spreads joy and positivity,” he concludes.
