Just recently, Mrunal has directed Ti Ani Ti shot in Great Britain in a span if just 22 days with Pushkar Shrotri, Prarthana Behere and Sandeep Kulkarni . Incidentally, the screenplay of the film Ti Ani Ti has been written by none other than Mrunal Kulkarni’s own talented actor son Viraj Kukarni, who is keen on following his mother’s footsteps and emerge a director shortly. Viraj had made his debut as a leading man with the film Hostel Days. The film which revolves around a young boy, who is in a dilemma because he is stuck between two young girls, is slated for release in March this year. Mrunal Kulkarni confesses that she attends every film festival religiously because she considers herself a student of cinema. “I am extremely glad that the Marathi film audiences have today made a film like Ani Dr Kashinath Ghanekar a super duper hit by accepting it wholeheartedly at the box office though Subodh Bhave is playing an anti hero for the first time in his career”, Mrunal Kulkarni signs off.
