The last twenty three birthdays have been very cushy , comfortable , calm and as the youth of today call it cool birthdays with nothing to worry about today or tomorrow or the life time to come - Ali Peter John

But just one month or so in the Arthur Road Jail must have changed all the ambitions , desires and dreams of not only Aryan but also his loving father ( remember Shah Rukh was called Aryan in Adityaa Chopra's Mohabbatein , the comeback film of Amitabh Bachchan ) and his mother Gauri and his siblings Suhana and AbRam

One hard kick by destiny and their apple cart came tumbling down and they become show pieces of the whole world

And Shah Rukh who was known for his glib tongue went into the kind of silence that could make his most loved ones scream and cry and shout to the high skies and ask God why he had done all the horrible things to Shah Rukh's family which was the most loved family of the millions

It seems like the storm has calmed down and the family at Mannat would be given a chance to start life all over again , but we all felt the same way for the family when it was Shah Rukh's birthday last November and then when it was Aryans birthday also in last November , but look at what destiny did with the lovable and admired and respected family

Shah Rukh will have to start his two new films with the same excitement he was known for , but will a father be the same father after going through the hell he has gone through because of his son ?

Gauri will have to get back to business as one of the best designers , but will the mother in Gauri be able to forget the wounds and the scars that have been left after the tragedy of the drugs story

Suhana was all set to start on a dream journey , but it looks like only God and the prayers of her parents will make the difference in her young and sweet life

AbRam is still not aware of which thunder has struck his father to make him such a quiet father who keeps looking out of his window most of the time and asking silent questions which not even God has answers to

And if a birthday has not really made any difference to a young man of 24 , it is Aryan , who will some day sit back and write a book on all that life has made him go through in just thirty one days and perhaps all the book " those thirty one days that changed the colour of my life "
