ASHIESH ROY NEEDS HELP FOR DIALYSIS IN HOSPITAL

Is indeed very ironical that though way back in 1997, when the serial Byomkesh Bakshi telecast on Doordarshan was at the height of its unprecedented popularity, actor Ashiesh Roy was also a hugely popular comedian. The 55 year old character actor is today in dire straits and has been admitted in a hospital where he is being treated in ICU and being given dialysis every day. Ashiesh has sent a fervent appeal on May 17 this year through his Face Book page to everyone in the film as well as TV industry for helping him tide over the crisis and immediately people like Hansal Mehta, Vinita Nanda, Hiten Paintal, Anand Dassani etc have come forward to help him by donating him whatever they have been possibly able to.

Ashiesh Roy is a bachelor and has been living all alone in Mumbai. Till date among the TV serials in which he had acted are Byomkesh Bakshi, Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Movers & Shakers, Banegi Apni Baat, Aarambh, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke, Mere Angne Mein, Sasural Simar Ke. Ashiesh has also acted in films like Home Delivery, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Barkha and Raja Natwarlal. Ashiesh Roy is such an all rounder that he has also given the voice over to several foreign films when they were dubbed in Hindi and released all over the country.

Unfortunately for Ashiesh Roy, his health is not keeping well and for the last three years though he has been constantly requesting filmmakers as well as TV serial producers for work, he has not been able to bag any assignment at all. Ashiesh has a sister who is staying in his home town in Kolkata. Ashiesh had suffered from Paralysis three years ago and on top of it, he has been afflicted by diabetics. Ashiesh has even written on his Face Book that he is so fed up of life that he wants God to end his life and relieve him from misery at the hospital. Whatever amount you wish to donate to Ashiesh will not be enough because today he is penniless and has to cough up huge amounts on a day to day basis for his dialysis treatment in the hospital.
