Ashwini Chaudhary Ends Animosity Between Kamaal R Khan And Shreyas Talpade After Their Spat

The music launch of upcoming socio-political thriller, inspired by true life events, Setters was quite rocking with the launch of the title track Kartooten sung by Salim Sulaiman, Raftaar and Sukhwinder Singh amidst much fanfare. Apart from the music being the core focus, the national award-winning director of the film, Ashwini Chaudhary was seen playing mediator between the very outspoken critic Kamaal R Khan and the lead protagonist of the film, Shreyas Talpade who have been embroiled in a waging war since over 2 years. Ashwini Chaudhary said, “During the performance, I noticed that Shreyas Talpade and Kamal R Khan were little uncomfortable with each other. I knew about the social media spat which they had during the release of Poster Boys. It was a happy occasion and the media and film industry was in full strength to bless the team of Setters. As a director of the film and a good friend to both, I took the initiative and got both of them together as I believe life is too short to hold any grudges. They shook hands, let bygones be bygones. Starring Shreyas Talpade and Aftab Shivdasani in the lead, the film showcases a determined police officer on a steadfast mission essayed by Aftab to nab the setters mafia team led by Shreyas. The film tracks the mafia, operating from Varanasi, Jaipur, Mumbai and New Delhi, who exploit the loopholes in the examination system by profiteering in setting up exam papers and duplicate candidates across the country.The film also features Sonnalli Seygall, Ishita Dutta, Pavan Malhotra, Vijay Raaz, Jameel Khan, Manu Rishi , Pankaj Jha , Neeraj Sood and  is slated for release on 3rd May.
