Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla’s mortal remains were kept at the Cooper Hospital on Thursday night, that is, the day he died due to a massive heart attack in the morning at his house after the post-mortem and was taken to the Brahmakumari Ashram in Juhu and later to the actor’s residence in Oshiwara - Jyothi Venkatesh

There was a 'Shanti path' at home, and his last rites were performed at the Oshiwara crematorium later in the day on Friday.

While the post-mortem was done on Thursday, after the final report and an official statement from the Mumbai Police were released on Friday, the actor’s body was handed to the family members.

Sidharth Shukla, who featured in several popular television shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak, passed away on September 2 after suffering a massive heart attack and was brought dead to the Cooper hospital, according to a senior official.

Following the untimely demise of actor Sidharth Shukla (40), social media was on Thursday flooded with condolence messages shared by the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner's friends and co-stars.

Sidharth did a number of television and reality shows and also acted in the popular 2014 film ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania', starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt as the leads.

Sidharth had begun his career as a popular model and was the runner up in the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest in 2004 and had also won the World’s best Model contest held in Turkey in 2005.

Not many are aware of the fact that though Sidharth had made his acting debut in films with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya in 2014 where he had shared the screen space with Varun Dhawan and Aalia Bhat but the show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008 and followed it up with TV serials like Jaane Pehchaane Se, Ye Ajnabi and Love U Zindagi shot him up further in the ladder of fame. However it was his stint with Balika Vadhu that made him a household name

Mumbai-born Shukla shot to fame with 'Balika Vadhu', Color TV's game-changing social messaging show about child marriage, but he established his credentials by winning 'Bigg Boss 13' (2019), usually charming with the women, often serious with the men (especially when dispensing advice to Asim Riaz) and affable with the host.

Sidharth Shukla was known for being fit and had also won the reality show, 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7'.

Moving on from his stint in films and TV serials and reality shows, Siddharth turned his attention to the digital world and churned out his first and sadly last show Broken But Beautiful Season 3 earlier this year on ALT Balaji where is character Agasthya was loved and appreciated by each and every one . Sidharth is survived by his mother and two sisters.

With many celebrities turning up at the Cooper Hospital and his residence like Rajkummar Rao, Asim Riaz, Vishal Aditya Singh, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rahul Mahajan,Ashoke Pandit, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, even after his sad death, Sidharth proved that he was a friend of friends and everyone just loved him for his demeanor
