LOTPOT is one of India's most famous and popular comic series. The most beloved characters of this comic series are Motu and Patlu, who experience all sorts of adventures together.
The Austrian Cultural Forum of the Austrian Embassy New Delhi together with the editors and team members of the LotPot Publication envisaged to publish two special versions of this fun-frolic comic series in English and in Hindi.
In these special editions Motu and Patlu along with Dr. Jhatka and Ghasitaram travel to two beautiful cities in Austria - Vienna and Salzburg, which are now available also digitally on the website of the Austrian Cultural Forum New Delhi https://www.bmeia.gv.
This comic-series focuses primarily on “Learn with Fun” about the two cities of Austria.
Utmost care has been taken by the Austrian Cultural Forum and Lotpot team to impart information about Austria to the readers of all age groups.
Initiative has been taken to teach basic German language along with the details of the Geographical, Touristic sites and locations of these two famous cities of Austria.
In order to reach out to the wider audience common languages namely English and Hindi have been used for these two versions of the comics.
Also, the cultural as well as the culinary aspects of the two countries have been imbibed through the adventures of Motu Patlu and other characters of this comic.
Motu ensures that he does not miss his favorite dish “samosa” in Austria, the urge of which makes him discover famous Austrian dish “Salzburger Nockerl”. The idea behind it is not only to introduce the dishes but also how it relishes the taste buds irrespective of its geographical location and origin.
