Ayan Mukerji shares Amitabh Bachchan's first look from the film Brahmāstra with a lovely note

There is still time to release the trailer of Brahmastra but the makers of the film have added to our excitement by sharing a poster of Amitabh Bachchan's character 'Guru - Prakash Ke Guru'. In the poster, Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan can be seen holding injury marks on his face and holding a sword of light named as Prabhastra in his hand.

Sharing the poster, the film's director Ayan Mukerji wrote " GURU (and his Prabhāstra - The Sword of Light) Since my first meeting with Mr. Bachchan in 2016 to discuss Brahmāstra, he has always said that he loved the concept of this venture - Ancient Indian Astras which are protected in India Today!

This blend of ancient Indian Spirituality and modern India - had really appealed to him, and to my great fortune, he agreed to be a part of Brahmāstra... And changed the destiny of our movie - by bringing his magnificent energy to our Guru - filling him with grace, wit and wisdom.

So much excitement and respect in my heart today, as we launch our Guru Poster, and celebrate this collaboration with the Greatest of Indian Cinema!

Karan Johar also took to his social media while revealing the character of Amitabh Bachchan from the film, he wrote

गुरू है गंगा ज्ञान की । काटे भाव का पाश

Ever since the fans saw this look of Amitabh Bachchan, they are very excited to watch the movie and now everyone is talking about the actor's first look.

Last week, Ayan Mukerji shared the teaser of the film on social media and wrote: " Same same but different " trailer of the film will release on June 15.

This movie is going to be Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's first film together, in this film Alia-Ranbir stars along with megastars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna , Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy, although there is also news that Shahrukh Khan will also be seen in the film and will have a long cameo role. However, the film is expected to release in theaters on September 9.
