AYUSHMANN'S LOSS IS APARSHAKTI'S GAIN, HERE'S HOW!

Aparshakti and Ayushmann Khurrana share a great camaraderie and it seems like that doesn't go unnoticed by the filmmakers too. So when Ayushmann Khurrana couldn't sign a film due to date issues, the filmmakers approached none other than Aparshakti! Aparshakti Khurrana will now be seen alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty in Happy Bhaag Jaegi Returns. 

According to DNA, Ayushman Khurrana was the makers first choice for the film's sequel but the actor had to decline the film citing date issues. Now, reportedly, the director and producers have got Ayushmann’s brother on board. A source spoke to the portal and said, “Aparshakti is doing the Happy Bhaag Jayegi sequel now. He is doing the bhajan based reality show, Om Shanti Om as well so he has worked his dates out in a way that he can shoot Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns without causing any delay.”

The source further added, “It wasn’t an instant call. But everyone was keen on Ayushmann. And Aparshakti also brings the same energy to the character. So they offered him the role. Ayushmann didn’t refer his brother at all. It was a call that the producers took themselves. Aparshakti will soon begin shooting his portions for the comedy film.”
