Baba Sehgal Sings For The First Time In Marathi Film Gat Mat

The music as well as the trailer launch of the film Gat Mat being produced by Rajendra Prasad Shrivastava and directed by his son Nishit Shrivastava was held with pomp and splendor at the Ball Room of Jade Garden in Worli in the presence of its presence of Avdhoot Gupte who is presenting the youth oriented movie as well as the producer, director and the star cast comprising of Uday Tikekar, Nikhil Wairagar, Akshay Tankshale, Rasika Sunil, Poornima Dey and others, which is slated for release on November 16. What is interesting to note is the fact that the banner of the film production house is Yashraj Industries Productions though the producer has no connection at all with the late Yashraj. Samir Saptiskar has composed the music for the film and though Avdhoot Gupte has decided to present the film, he is content with just singing the title track for the film. The highlight of the movie is that Baba Sehgal has sung a song for the first time in a Marathi film, though he was conspicuous by his absence at the music launch
