BAD NEWS FOR FANS, THE KAPIL SHARMA SHOW TO GO OFF AIR

2017 is not Kapil Sharma's year. After his feud with ex-co-star Sunil Grover, things have just been going down the drain. This time, Sony Entertainment Television has decided to pull the plug on one of their popular comedy weekend offerings, The Kapil Sharma Show. The reason behind this sudden decision is Kapil's health issues. His blood sugar levels have dropped. He is also undergoing a lot of stress as he has been simultaneously shooting for the show and upcoming film, Firangi.

The official spokesperson of the channel told a leading daily, "Kapil has been under the weather for some time now. Due to which we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery."

Recently, actor Ajay Devgn left the sets of the show without promoting his new film Baadshaho as Kapil didn't show up. The comedian also didn't show up for the promotional shoot of Jab Harry Met Sejal and Mubarakan. None of the celebrities took offence to Kapil's absence as they understood it was because he was not keeping well.

The Drama Company will be replacing Kapil's show for the 9 pm time slot while Super Dancer will take the 8 pm slot, which was earlier slated for The Drama Company. Once, Kapil recovers from his illness TKSS might just get the 10 pm slot.  Sony  TV also plans to rerun old episodes of the The Kapil Sharma Show for the time being, with a change in the timing.
We all wish for Kapil's speedy recovery so, that he can make a comeback on television soon for his fans.
