The ceremony saw the crème de la crème of the industry comprising renowned film-makers, producers and artists, in attendance in Mumbai. Celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Pankaj Tripathi, Sriram Raghavan, Amit Trivedi, Konkona Sen, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Ankita Lokhande and Shibani Dandekar were seen amping up the oomph factor at the glamorous ceremony. Winning the hearts of the audience and the critics alike, Alia Bhatt took away the Best Actress award for her unparalleled performance in Raazi. On the other hand, Gajraj Rao won the Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in Badhaai Ho. Starring Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Ayushmann Khurana, and Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho won the Best Film award, while Sriram Raghavan for his movie Andhadhun won the Best Director award. Having mesmerized the audience with their endearing voices, Ammy Virk and Shahid Mallya won the award for Best Playback Singer (Male) for their heart touching song - Daryaa from the movie - Manmarziyaan. Harshdeep Kaur and Vibha Saraf won the Best Playback Singer (Female) for Dilbaro from Raazi. Daryaa from Manmarziyan also won the Best Song category and Dilbaro penned by Gulzar won the Best Lyrics award, making it a night of double wins for these popular tracks.
