Mamta Solanki says that her character Chachi in Bazi Ishq Ki is different from the roles she has done so far. The show is being produced by Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s Inspire Films.
“My character, Chachi, is quite shady. She is someone who would interfere in every situation no matter what and is very cunning. This is the first time I am playing such a character, so I am really enjoying it a lot. My look in the show is simple, unlike how such characters look on screen. And, I look different when I become my character. I don’t take much time to get ready,” she says.
Mamta does not relate much to Chachi. “This is a negative character, and I am a very positive person. I am very simple in real life, and don’t like interfering in anyone else's life.”

The USP of the show, according to her, is the look. “It’s not like a daily soap, it is very different and new. I expect that this show gets a good TRP and goes on for many years to come,” says the actor, who unwinds by spending time with family.
Praising the Patnaiks, she adds, “This is the first time I've worked with them, and it’s been a very nice experience. Would love to work with them again and again. The team is also very good, we all bond with each other well and enjoy spending time together”
The TV industry has evolved over the years. “If we say changes, I think this industry has always had changes in monetary terms. So I think the budget/money issue should always be solved.”
OTT has given competition to TV. “Well, these are both quite different industries, and they both have different viewership. I feel both should go the way they have been going and growing till now,” she ends.
