“Be Yourself-Let The Other Person Be-No Conditions Apply ” : ‘Experimental Chef’ Rajeev Khandelwal Shares His Recipe For ‘True Love’

Debonair Rajeev ( ‘Sujal’) Khandelwal  still has a huge female fan-following, despite his ‘shaadi-shuda’ status  .  With ALTBalaji ‘s trending trailer of its most-awaited web-series ‘Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala’, sparks are flying as two powerhouses of talent ---Divyanka ‘hot’ Tripathi and smart-dude Rajeev ‘cool’ Khandelwal share screen space for the first time. Rajeev Khandelwal who plays ‘two different age-groups characters in the unique volatile show,  is cast as Vikram, a Michelin Two Star Chef in the web series. When quizzed on his personal recipe for ‘true love’ he responds with,: “Be yourself and let the other person be— no conditions apply ” He reveals his idea of cooking which gives us one more reason to admire this talented actor. “I love to cook too but I don’t like to follow recipes or Google them. My wife Manjiri  is a huge fan of recipe-based cookery shows. Frankly, I could never understand her love for such shows. In contrast, I enter the kitchen and instinctively make something from whatever vegetables and ingredients are  available and sometimes it turns out really nice. I believe you need  creativity to cook and there is a disciplined method- technique to it. But in this ‘Coldd Lassi..’ ALT Balaji web-show, as well as in real-life I believe in spontaneous ad-lib recipes.”  On his tryst with kitchen and cooking, the ‘Juzzbaatt’ TV show host  further adds, “My dad was in the Army and was usually posted at borders. We were three brothers but I would be the one helping my mom in the kitchen. I would make tea for her or make chapattis as she was the last one to eat at home. This is how I actually learned cooking.”
